Khalid, 7 years old, sits outside of the medical tent of a US military base after elders from a village claimed he was injured from a bomb dropped by the Americans near his home. American forces admit to dropping a bomb in the area, and say the boy was most likely injured in the attack. Civilians throughout Afghanistan have been victims of both Taliban and US attacks.

Bangladesh - Here is Sheema, 5 years old now, who was attacked with acid by her father, when she was only 10 months old, because he denied her as his child and wanted to kill her and her mother. Acid Survivors Foundation of Bangladesh, rescued Sheema immediately after the attack and saved her life.

UGH. Pathetic excuse for a man. A child, seriously? WHO does that to a child? You look at an innocent, pure, 10 month old. How could anyone ever want to do that to a little angel, regardless if it’s their child or not.

Oh my god :( how can someone do that to thier own child?
